Thief Contract 2~

Ceserine looked around the small cavern she had claimed for her own in the sewers beneath the city of Venice. The only opposition had been from some rats, who were quickly dispatched, and the odd begger had poked his head around, before hurrying off. The cavern was big enough to be a guild hall, and Ceserine was relieved to find a smaller one off the side of it, which even contained a very narrow chute - just wide enough for a small woman like her to fit through - as a potential escape route, should anything go wrong, and had a stone shelf that could be used as a bed. The chute led to the other side of the sewers.

Despite walking around the village, she was unable to find anyone else living within the immediate area, and so decided that it would be safe enough to live there. After collecting a few personal affects from the house she had lived in before, Ceserine settled herself into the cavern, making sure to leave nothing of any remote value lying around when she was not present.

"This area is for thieves and those with whom they can ally." She said allowed to the empty cavern, "It has been claimed for that purpose."
